Pecky cypress is a much sought after wood. It possesses a unique grain that results from a fungus which enters the tree and works its way throughout the heartwood and branches of the cypress tree. Its travels create grooves and burrows in the wood. Young cypress trees do not become pecky cypress trees — the fungus only grows in trees that are mature. Because it is highly coveted, real pecky cypress wood is in danger of extinction due to recent over harvesting.
Our solution is to offer beautiful faux pecky cypress beams that are a premium faux wood product. Our faux pecky cypress beams look real because they are molded from actual pecky cypress wood beams. First a mold of the actual beam is made then polyurethane is poured into it. This process duplicates the characteristic grooves, textures and uniqueness of the actual pecky cypress beam. This is why our beams look indistinguishable from real pecky cypress.

Universal Flexible Straps
This strap is made out of rubber and comes rolled up. It is very easy to use. Roll it out to the desired length and simply cut it with scissors. Then glue it to the beam using an approved adhesive such as liquid nails.
