These hand-hewn beams are ideal for giving your home an old-world cottage look. Some call the look Mediterranean or Tuscan. They are in stock and ready for a quick shipment.

The Timber beams have a rugged, down-to-earth quality that adds warmth to a home's interior or exterior décor. Add the natural look of a real timber wood beam to your room with the light weight, easy maintenance and affordability of faux wood.

The way we make all of our faux wood ceiling beams is the same...
We start with actual real wood beams. We then rough hew the real wood beam using old-fashioned tools. It has all the tooling marks that give it true character. Then we make a high quality mold out of the wood beam and pour polyurethane into that mold to make a beam with the same texture and look of a real wooden beam.

Important!  Any Timber or Sandblasted Beams and/or Corbels intended to be used in an exterior application needs to be top coated with a high quality clear coat exterior polyurethane with a UV inhibitor to protect the stain from fading.

Beam Straps

A strap can be used as a decorative element or to hide seams. Use a strap when splicing two beams together to make one long beam. This strap is made out of rubber and comes rolled up. It is very easy to use. Roll it out to the desired length and simply cut it with scissors. Then glue it to the beam using an approved adhesive such as liquid nails.
